I can't believe the shape of this place. There must have been 5 employees and the place looked like no one cares. The leaves were so bad that If it wasn't for the escort to the site, you couldn't see the road. Forget about the site.

I'm a workcamper so I see some of this stuff that goes on.

I don't know any other park that would have been more kind and helpful then these people have been. My first stay was to visit my sister while she was in the hospital. I have returned as they have moved her to hospice. The grounds are well kept. The showers and laundry are one of the best I have encountered on my journey. I feel very safe here with my Rowdy.

This place is awesome. It has a bit of everything. If u are going to rent one of there cabins just remember this, bring your own linens and pillows, probably some bug spray and a 6 plug in extension cause they only have 2 and one is used. Also make sure you have a good ice chest to keep your cold stuff cold. My only complaint is after the store closes at 8 there is not a Coke machine or vending machine in the park. The closest store is about a mile up the road and I'm not sure what time it closes either.

It was a nice place all in all however the tent spots weren't ideal. They also don't have much to do super close to the location. Also it didn't feel much like an actual campground. They should use sand instead of rocks. Did not sleep well. However their restrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. All in all it was a good experience.

It makes good workcampers look bad.

This place is first class. Myself and three friends were traveling from Columbus Ohio to Austin TX and needed a place to stay for the night. We were all starving and really didn't want to unpack our propane grill so I called to ask about whether they had the state park style charcoal setup. Our particular spot did not but they had a small charcoal grill that they were willing to loan us at NO COST, oh and they had it waiting at the site when we arrived. When we arrived the staff was most accommodating, full of smiles and made sure that we knew coffee would be ready at 8am. Facilities were the cleanest I have ever seen as well. This was my first time at a KOA campsite but it will most certainly not be my last.
