Doctor had very bad bedside manners. If you dont enjoy your job retire or find a new one. Because patients aren't getting the compassion or care that they need. Wasn't very helpful. Will never go back. Nor take my family members here. Had little concern for my health problems. Er is slow. Employee taking blood pressure and the employee putting notes in the computer had an attitude. Very poor service.
Only reason they got one star is because it requires you to in order to give a review. I have never had a Dr be so flipping rude and that is putting it nicely. I was scolded like a child for bringing in my 4 year old with a fever of 104 without calling his primary care Dr. My family will never return here. The only good thing I can say about this place is the nurse he got was very friendly and apologetic.
Worst experience of my life in ANY hospital. I went to the ER because I was achy all over and my throat was on fire and felt like sandpaper along with a barking cough. The strep test was negative which is great; however the doctor follows this news up with the following question "have you been around anyone who has been sick" I responded "yes, only one who had the flu" the doctor's next words were what blew my mind. "Well, since I don't know what's wrong and you're not running a fever right now we can treat you for the flu if you want" No Flu test ran. Seriously?!? You're the freaking doctor. I don't know what I have, if I did, I probably wouldn't be here in this place asking you and paying $1,000.00

Have always had a positive experience here but not last weekend. The only efficient person working was the ER doctor. Very disappointed.
Family member went to ER. Misdiagnosed with bronchitis when in fact they had RSV. Sat in ER for 12 hours "waiting for a bed." Blood under ER bed from previous patient. Finally admitted. MD ordered full isolation precautions and SCDs. No one fully followed isolation precautions. RN did not wear ANY of the aforementioned. When asked about the order for SCDs, RN stated that they were not ordered. When read the note from the provider she acknowledged the request. Patient requested to go the restroom. Hazardous waste was on the floor. I notified PCT in the hall. Someone called housekeeping to mop. Approximately one hour later, waste was still in the floor. Patient requested assistance to the restroom again. After PCT walked through waste, housekeeping arrived. Drug vials lay on the patient's bedside table. There is more to this visit but I digress. Basically, if you want care from people who have no empathy, do not follow protocol, and who trample on the last shred of human dignity a patient has, visit Baptist. They do these things well.
