I just call them to get quote. The woman (VS) played smart, reduced my coverage of online quote to show lower cost and ask me to buy policy. Do not trust these people.
I really like Geico. They have always been helpful and provided excellent service. Working odd hours means that I have used their online access a lot and it is very intuitive and not complicated.
Thanks Geico for the Bait and switch!! you have forever lost us as a customer. If you are considering Geico, i would suggest you search google, it would appear since 2008 they have started this bait and switch plan. We will never return. Esurance (allstate) was happy to beat our previous rate with geico!! Just avoid geico at all costs unless they change out management and go back to being a fair company again. Off to find insurance for homeowners so geico wont get our money for the home either.
Geico is the worst insurance company I've ever used. They do not do anything to help their customers and their customer service representatives are incompetent. They sign you up for things without your knowledge like automatic debit and will not resolve any issue for their customers. I would advice you to not use Geico for insurance and if they are your only option for insurance, then you should probably take your chances and go without insurance.
Bad service
Had Geico for both home and auto for over 11 years. recently the rate went up only 60 bucks, but the auto pay system did not see this (auto pay covered the normal fee), they canceled the policy with no prior notice warning, upon attempting to reinstate day of cancellation (they email you)... the policy doubled from 1700 to 3400 for 3 cars (were about to sell one, just registered the new car last week).
