Do not go to this theater for their RPX screen. Their vanity lights for “RPX” shine directly on the screen on both sides. Completely washes out the colors of the movie. If it’s a darker scene, all you’re seeing is a black screen with lights shining on it.
Nice theatre and facilities, but service is always lacking. Any time I've ever been here there is rarely more than one attendant in the ticket or concession lines. We never buy concessions because of the inconvenience. Im sure they would sell more if more lines were open. Why build a big new theatre but not fully staff it? *EDIT*It's been a year since I wrote this, and still the same issue. Understaffed with less than friendly people
Pretty good theater. Prices are kinda high but it's clean. They get sold out pretty quick so go early. The new value meals they have are great and worth the money.
You're wasting your money if you go to their RPX. You'll only see about 1/2 of the movie. I'd rather drive 15 minutes into Little Rock than to go to this theater which is less 5 minutes from my house.
My wife and I had a pretty miserable experience tonight. I live in Little Rock, which has plenty of its own theaters. So, this was my first time driving over the river to see a movie. The reason we went to NLR was because they were showing a double feature of the original Blade Runner, along with the new one. The tickets were not cheap, but they are cheaper than paying for two separate movies.
It seems like for $50 in tickets between the two of us, they could have at least given us a few minutes to use the restroom... This is all very unfortunate, as the theater is otherwise very nice, new, and clean. We get very few chances to have a date night, especially during the week. I'm not going to risk the next one at this theater. I will not be back.
After bringing this to their attention, they informed me “those are our safety lights.” These are not the lights on the floor. These are the lights that shine down the entire wall on both sides of the screen. When I went out there the second time to say something to them she told me I was the 4th person to complain about the lights. Seeing as this was a Tuesday evening, there were only 4 of us in the theater at that time. They were less than helpful to fix this problem. They told us “switch seats because maybe there’s a glare."
Nothing outstanding but nothing horrible either. Food and drinks expensive but clean environment and no movie talkers.
The bad experience started before the movie. The employee working the concession stand completely ignored us, even after walking right by us four times. It took about ten minutes just to get a pretzel, popcorn, and a soft drink. The pretzel and the popcorn were burnt. The pretzel was inedible, and I'm not even sure how you burn popcorn when the machine basically does all of the work. Luckily, we got there twenty minutes early.
When I returned, I had missed the entire opening scene, a major plot point, and couldn't figure out what was going on until about halfway into the film. I'm fairly positive that they didn't even show any trailers. How exactly is someone supposed to sit through almost five hours of film without a break?
First, they forgot to turn the lights off in the theater for the first ten or fifteen minutes of the first movie. My biggest issue, however, was the complete lack of intermission between the movies. I got up halfway into the credits of the first movie. I went to the restroom and called the babysitter to check on the kids. I might have been gone for ten minutes.
