When going to the National Guard Base, be prepared for a background check, and make sure your car insurance is valid as they will request that as well in order to give you a guest pass. Finding the Museum itself can be a little tricky too, but google maps should be able to point you in the right direction. Drive safely through the base and respectfully, you don't want problems with local enforcement. Remember, you're on the grounds of a military base.
One of the best places to find rich of Central Arkansas history you can't find anywhere else.
Great place to visit and learn about the history of the military in Arkansas.
The museum itself is quite fascinating. They have all sorts of vehicles outside for you to observe and even touch (no climbing allowed, i don't suggest testing out your luck and climbing a tank in a military base... just saying). There's also an inside part of the museum which is just as fascinating as the outside.
Great history and cool models
NOTE: You'll have to go into an actual National Guard Base.
Great piece of history every arkansan should see.
