Concentra is a really nice place. It's clean, modern, and the employees are really nice. They even have a physical therapy room!
I was in so much pain when I went in Concetra, literally I couldn't think straight to answer the nurses questions. She asked me, how much I weighed, I gave her one weight and she kinda frowned and politely said, "Are you sure because that's how much I weigh". We both started laughing because I had give her my weight from when I was in my 30's. That's just how bad I was hurting. But when I left there, I could have done flips all the way to the car. That's just how much better I felt. Thanks Dr. Lawrence!!!!
Actually the entire staff has always been very nice and accommodating!
I waited 2 hours to even be seen. Then I get to a room and finally see dr and after he leaves I literally sat in that room for an hour. No reason. No one coming to check on me. They had forgotten about me. Now, how does that happen??
The physician was incompetent and made up information was presented as fact. When seeking clarification on his assertions he just ignored me. He treated me as if I could not know anything he knows because I'm a lowly RN. His assistant Sandy (who I hope is not a nurse) was rude, unprofessional, promised to return calls and never did. When I solicited Sandy for an explanation about the doctor's made up information because I could not find a single reference or peer reviewed source to validate the information he gave. She overruled me and said "it's whatever the provider chooses". The doctor refused to authorize my physical for employment until another "MD" agreed to discontinue medication, that was legal, valid and needed. My APRN signing was insufficient and Sandy had to call and insist that a "MEDICAL DOCTOR" sign off or he will not clear my physical. When I followed up to be sure they got all of the specific details they asked for, Sandy was exasperated and told me "well, (long sigh), that means I'll have to go to the fax machine. I'll call you back later". I never got called back. The doctor's demand was invalid and untrue and Sandy was more rude than a sober sailor.
Dr. Troy Moore is an awesome doctor!
Also, the Dr I saw, he is so lazy and forgetful. He's unorganized and it comes accross in his unprofessional manner. And sloppy dress.
Worst visit I've ever had. The Dr needs to GO!!
