UPDATE: We have not received any contact from Lowes in the last two days. We decided this morning to call and check on what the hold up was. The phone rang and rang with no response. We decided to go up to the store again. Once speaking with customer service they called the appliance manager for assistance. It was the same manager that offered to come to our house the other day for install. She did not come to the front and spoke with us over the in store phone. She stated that she would be over shortly and got our address. This was five hours ago and she has still not called or arrived.

According to their website they have some products here but if you can’t see them with your own eyes you’ll never get them. Because no one is interested in getting anything for you. “Customer needs assistance...” is what you hear constantly in here.

The next area is what begins to get problematic. Once installed the refrigerator began to make a loud whining sound. The delivery men asked if we would like it to be taken back and that they could bring us a replacement due to the manufacture issue. I was instructed to call the manager on duty to remedy the situation and to schedule the next delivery. Once I arrived I spoke with the head manager in this area. He stated that he would call me the same night and setup a time for delivery. While talking we asked about the ice maker to the unit. He stated that they are sold separately and would throw it in for the inconvenience. We thought we had resolution and were happy once we left the store.

That night we waited for a call back and it was never received. We called the next morning to see what the issue might be and spoke with another manager. He stated that a delivery had been setup for two days out and he had no other information for us. We once again waited patiently. Once the product arrived TWO days later we were missing the plug as well as the ice maker portion. We requested the item and were told that we needed to go back up to the store to get the items.

I called and left a message for the manager, who was in a “staff meeting “, but did not return my call.

Organized, yes. Friendly, yes. Helpful, yes. But when you order $2,432.97 worth of lumber, and pay for $59.00 for them to deliver, it's not worth it. Upon delivery the guy told me there were some items that they could fill due to they where out of stock, ok. They said when more comes in they will call me and deliver it to me, ok. I started doing an inventory on my lumber. But the guy told me that he had to run and do another delivery and to sign this. I said "no, I needed to make sure all my lumber was here." He then said he and someone else pulled the order, and it was all there. I signed the papers and continue with my inventory. I ordered 28, 1x6x10 and got 11, 17 missing, that's $96.05. Plywood, ordered 10 got 9, that's $31.49. In all that $908.44 of $2432.97 ordered, out of that $908.44, the lumber they shorted me and item not stocked comes to $378.11. You would expect that Lowe's would hire people with more then a third grade education who can count past 10.

Awful and full of empty promises! This was one of the most complicated purchases that I have ever made. I would have rather spent a day or two at a local car dealership. In doing so, I would have probably received more honest and helpful assistance. Anyways, now that we have gotten past how rough the process was lets get into the actual problem.

Don’t order online for store pickup from this site. I ordered nearly $500 worth of trim, even though they didn’t have all I needed, and paid for it. They never sent me an email saying my order was ready, but I sent someone to pick up my order today, only to be told the order had been canceled. They couldn’t explain why or when, or whether I had been credited.

After waiting half an hour I just ordered what I needed from amazon on my phone and left.

We loaded back up and went to the store and spoke with yet another manager. She gave us the ice maker and apologized for the issue. While speaking with her she stated that if we have any issues then to give her a call and she would have someone come out to do the install the "next day." We did run into some issues and called to get the assistance. She was off that day. After waiting another day we finally got ahold of her. This interaction was once again not helpful. She now states that her and her guys are busy and unable to assist within the rest of this week. To call next week and see if she can help then. It is nice that they offered the extra part given that I was never educated on the possibility extra charge for the icemaker(The demo unit had an icemaker with no tagging about pricing or that it was not included.) This issue was the final straw. We have now been dismissed once again and told to wait for our service. We did not pay this kind of money to get discarded like trash. We will give management one more attempt to assist. However, my expectations are low. If we received assistance I will update this review. If not then just expect I have not received any help.

Customer service and knowledge sucks so bad that it's not even worth coming here. If you MUST get something from here, then be sure to have it delivered to your place if possible - Delivery costs be damned. Avoid having to interact with so-called staff at all costs.

After a bit of delay I finally agreed to purchase a new refrigerator with my spouse. We were offered free and local delivery. We were going to pick up the refrigerator on the same day but chose to take advantage of the free delivery instead. Delivery was setup later in the week and worked for us. We were told that we would be given a call on the morning of delivery to let us know the window for drop off. Due to having a job it would have helped to have this information. On the day of delivery we never received a call about the delivery time. We didn't hear from Lowes until ten minutes prior to delivery. Once, the delivery men were inside we had a few issues, however, the delivery men were very helpful.

I reordered the material, but they only had about half the material. Probably because my last order had not been restocked. I would have been better off just walking in and picking the stuff off the shelf.

I guess when you order on the website and choose store pickup some magical Lowe’s gremlins crawl out of a crack in the wall to bring your items up to customer service.
