I've been here so many times. It's great for runners and/or walkers.
Tried to go bowfishing near the Dam. Pier was trashed out with beer cans, chip bags and bait boxes. Just trashy! Shady characters driving around, music blaring F this F that. Drug dealing blatantly in the open. It would be nice if an officer would take a nice little walk around the park instead of just jetting through. Maybe some of that might just stop and make it a nice park again.
Great little walking, hiking and biking park. From here you can goes miles and miles. It's easy access to the big dam bridge and other places on the river trail.
Excellent place to walk! My wife and I love taking our dogs out across the bridge. Seems like they have done a better job of cleaning up the Big Dam Bridge since we've been there a few years ago!
