I went into the store to purchase a space heater. Found a vornado compact tower. Priced under it was 42.??. Once I got to the register it rung up 69+. Unbeknownst to me it was placed in wrong price tag. Spoke to the assist. Manager brad. I was advised price can't be honor but yet clearly a member of his service team placed it there. Very unprofessional and poor customer service on management part. Instead I went to Wal-Mart down the street and spent my money.
Starting to believe anyone who works in department stores like Best Buy could care less about a job. I go into here buy 30 dollars worth of products and the sales clerk would rather have a conversation with a co-worker about nothing than assist his customer. I will find what i need online next time.
The employees were helpful in explaining the products. Would have given a 5 star but didn't like the the fact that after I purchased something there, they wanted to charge me almost the purchase price to install it. (It was a screen protector for a phone and the person at the check out didn't advise me of an additional charge just said " hey since you bought that here if you take that right over there, they will put it on for you." Needless to say both the other employee and myself were a little embarrassed about an additional charge being added that I wasn't aware of. Especially when I wasn't willing to pay for something that I am more than capable of doing on my own.
I asked help to find a MP3 player. The first person pointed in the direction and told me they were by a check out counter, bur did not offer to take me there. I walked around looking for them could not find him so I came back and waited by the checkout counter. I didn't see the players because there was another customer standing in front of them. When the checkout person was finished with that customer I asked him where they were he also pointed and just walked away. I had to wonder around on the floor looking for someone to help me because I had no idea about the details of the gift that I was purchasing. I had to make a phone call to my son to give me some kind of an idea about which one to buy, so your customer service is lousy. I felt like I was totally ignored and everybody was too busy with high-dollar item people to help me with my purchase
Staff was very helpful. Was able to return with an exchange a DVD player with no problems. Quit working after only 6 months.
