Carpet One has an excellent staff who are willing to go above and beyond when it comes to your flooring needs. Wonderful customer service and professional and experienced top notch installers. I would recommend them if you wanting new flooring. They are there for you from start to finish. Don't waste your time with any other stores because they are established and will be still going strong when many of the other are fly by nights and unreliable!
The Akel's know their stuff. Good product with good pricing and good results.
This may not be fair to Akels because Carpet One was not owned by Akels at the time we purchased our flooring. It wast he last owner! The carpet was purchased approximately 3 years ago. The installation was done horribly. We have ripples or bumps popping up everywhere. The carpet was installed throughout the entire house except we put laminate flooring in the kitchen and dining room. Wish we had put it throughout! But the problem they said was it needed to be stretched - we had someone come do that 3 times. Still bumps and more bumps and many carpet nails I continue to step on and try to pull up. We finally purchased a large room size carpet to be placed on top of our living room carpet just to cover the bumps! The installation people obviously did not know what they were doing at all and I hope that Akels are using professionals now. I am so disappointed in what I thought was going to be a great new carpet! I am sorry Akels as I should have written this review long ago but we were hopeful in getting it corrected and it never was.
Installer made a bad seam (seamed carpet on outside if closet door to different color carpet). Sales manager Cody not responding to request to make it right. We are disappointed with their lack of concern for quality work. (Esp. After spending $2200 with them). In store Sales staff were friendly and helpfull. Have two more rooms to get done ,we will use a different company for them.
From my house to my business I have bought carpet, hardwoods and other flooring from Akels and would never go anywhere else. They have the best customer service/installation I have found out there.
